This set comes in two colours that both work beautifully with gold embroidery: a clear powder blue and a soft dusty mauve. The kurta at 37 inches is straight-cut with a V-neck, and the embroidery is the real story here. The neckline carries a dense zari and sequin panel in a Mughal arch motif — curved scrollwork, fine tendrils, and a deep central motif that flows from the neck down the front placket. Scattered floral sequin butis continue across the body and sleeves, and the sleeve cuffs have their own embroidered band that ties the whole design together.

The hem of the kurta has another wide zari embroidery border — intricate and full, with mirror work accents in the powder blue version that catch light naturally. The wide-leg palazzo in the same zazu silk is 40 inches long, free size with an elastic waist, and completely plain — which is the right call here, since the kurta does all the work.
