Deep wine with a band of bright colour at the hem is a smart way to wear a solid anarkali. The Roman silk has a soft sheen and a clean scoop neckline, fitted through the bodice and flaring into a 3.80 metre skirt that falls 47 to 48 inches. The hem carries a wide border of pink, coral, green and teal thread embroidery in scalloped rows, layered with gold zari and sequin bands.
The same multicolour embroidery finishes the full-sleeve cuffs, tying the look together. Slim micro cotton pants sit underneath, and the Roman silk dupatta carries a gold zari and sequin border on all sides. Add pearl jhumkas and embroidered juttis for Diwali, Karva Chauth, sangeet nights and winter weddings.
