The embroidery on this lehenga tells a very deliberate story from top to bottom. Scattered across the teal faux georgette body are small multicolour floral butis — roses, daisies, and leafy sprigs in pink, white, yellow, and green — placed at regular intervals so the lehenga looks rich even before it reaches the hem. Then the hem takes over completely: a dense diamond jaal (lattice net) band runs across the mid-hem, filled with individual floral motifs inside each diamond. Above that sits a row of large teardrop arch panels, each containing a detailed floral cluster in multicolour zari and sequin work with peacock motifs peeking through. The very bottom edge carries a full Mughal garden embroidery border — the kind you usually only see on lehengas priced several times higher.

The blouse is sleeveless georgette with a V-neck, covered entirely in the same multicolour Mughal floral embroidery as the lehenga body, with small pearl drops hanging from the hem edge. It comes unstitched with enough fabric for a bust up to 44 inches — get it tailored for a fitted finish. The back has a strappy open design with tie-up closures. The dupatta is plain teal georgette at 2.25 metres with a multicolour embroidered lace border that coordinates with the lehenga without repeating it.
