This lehenga is worked top to bottom in sequins, dori and zari, built up into paisley and peacock motifs that run the full length of a 3.25 metre skirt. The slate blue base barely shows through in places, that's how dense the metallic embroidery sits, and the hem finishes in a scalloped border with the same detailing carried right to the edge. A cancan is attached underneath, so the skirt holds its shape and volume without needing anything added separately.
The blouse comes as unstitched crepe silk, embroidered with matching sequin, dori and zari work on both the front and back panels, ready for your tailor to fit to you exactly. A glass silk dupatta rounds out the set, sheer enough to drape softly while still carrying its own sequin and zari border.
