The pallu is where this saree earns its keep. Large paisley motifs done in sequin and contrast thread work sit against a scalloped cutwork edge, giving the border real weight and dimension against the sheer star georgette body. The georgette itself is soft and flowing, light enough to drape all evening without pulling at the shoulder, and it takes light beautifully whether you are indoors under warm lighting or out in daylight for a haldi or mehendi.
Scattered sequin buttis run across the body of the saree, keeping the plain sections from feeling too bare without competing with the border. The blouse piece comes in a contrast Bangalore silk with its own embroidery detailing, unstitched so it can be tailored to your exact fit.
