The leaf motif is what carries this saree, running diagonally across the pallu and repeating down the length in sequins mixed with pita work, so the pattern glints rather than glares. Multicolour thread embroidery fills in the smaller details between the leaves, and the border finishes in a honeycomb-patterned cutwork with scalloped edges that gives the pallu a defined, dressy finish. The tissue net base keeps the whole saree light on the body.
