This lehenga is built for volume. Two layers of can-can sit under a 3.5 metre flair, so the skirt holds a wide, full shape from the moment you put it on. Vichitra silk gives it a soft, slightly textured surface, and tone-on-tone thread embroidery with sequins covers the skirt in panels that build toward a dense border at the hem.
A cascade of ruffles falls from one side of the waist, adding movement and a modern edge to a traditional shape. The blouse carries the same embroidery and sequin work with a V neckline, and the matching dupatta has a scalloped embroidered border with sequin buttis and tassels at the corners. Keep jewellery to a statement choker and jhumkas and let the skirt do the rest.
