Rust orange is the shade of marigolds and autumn light, and in glass Roman silk it takes on a burnished copper sheen. The short kurti frames the face with a notched neckline worked in fine gold zari, dori and sequin embroidery, then repeats the craft in a chevron-scalloped border across the hem and on the split bell cuffs.
