The bodice does something different here, a diamond-patterned sweetheart panel in white-on-red that reads almost like lace against the solid georgette skirt. It's padded, so you're not layering anything else underneath, and the sweetheart neckline sits clean without extra strapping. From the waist down, the red goes solid until it reaches the hem, where designer floral embroidery with sequin detailing takes over in a dense, scalloped border.
The back opens into a keyhole cutout with a tasseled tie, a detail meant to be seen when you turn. At 49-50 inches with a 3.2 metre flair, the Anarkali moves freely without feeling heavy, thanks to the soft micro inner underneath the georgette. A plain micro cotton pant with an elastic waist keeps things simple below, and the matching dupatta finishes at 2.2 metres with a fancy lace border along its edge.
