Royal blue in roman silk chanderi holds its color beautifully under any light, which is half the reason this gown photographs so well. The body stays clean and unembellished, letting the attached jacket panel at the bust do the talking, worked with silver embroidery and sequin detail in a symmetrical vine pattern across two structured front panels. Full sheer sleeves in the same blue keep the arms covered without adding bulk, and a simple round neck lets the jacket detailing sit as the clear focal point.
The gown falls into a soft, even flare from the waist down, 55 inches in length so it grazes the floor on most heights. The dupatta shifts fabric entirely, a mulmul chanderi cotton finished with a lace border and moti work along its edges, lighter and more breathable than the gown itself. Drape it over one shoulder to let the beaded edge catch the light, or wear it loosely for a softer, everyday festive look.
