This anarkali gown keeps its embroidery light and lets the color carry the look. Heavy Roman silk falls into soft waist pleats and opens into a full 4 metre flare, scattered all over with small booti embroidery in a contrasting thread. The V-neckline and long sleeves keep the silhouette clean, and a side zipper makes it easy to wear without any fuss.

The palazzo underneath is cut from the same Roman silk for a coordinated finish. The dupatta shifts into heavy chanderi silk, embroidered along the length to add a bit more texture to the outfit. This one works well for a mehendi or a daytime festive function where a lighter hand on the embroidery still needs to hold its own.
