This lehenga carries a classic patola-inspired print in deep red, with white geometric grids, tiny woven-look motifs and rows of mustard elephants running all the way down the skirt. The pattern stays busy but balanced, so you get a festive look without any heavy work weighing you down. A 4 metre flair with canvas patta gives the skirt a full, swinging shape that moves easily through garba rounds.
The set comes with two tops, which gives you options. A plain red blouse sits underneath, and a printed koti layers over it with thread embroidered stars and rows of mirrors along the front edges. As styled here, the koti has cowrie shell trims, side ties with tassels and a deep tie-up back, details your tailor can recreate from the unstitched piece. Wear the blouse alone for a lighter evening, or add the koti when you want the mirrors to catch the light.
