This is a lehenga built for the center of a wedding hall. Deep maroon malai silk carries a scatter of sequin buttis across the skirt that opens up into a heavy zari border at the hem, thick with temple domes and elephant motifs worked in dori and thread zari. It is bridal in every sense, the kind of piece that holds up under chandelier light and camera flashes both.
The blouse matches that intensity with sequin, dori and zari embroidery running across the entire front and back, scalloped at the waist and cuffs. It comes unstitched so it fits exactly to you. A kasturi silk dupatta finishes the set, carrying its own sequin and dori border to frame the whole look without competing with it.
