Deep maroon velvet is the fabric you want once the evenings turn cool. This kurta has a rich pile that looks darker in shadow and glows wine-red in the light. A wide yoke of gold cording embroidery with sequins and small pearl accents runs down from the round neckline, and matching panels finish the full sleeves and the hem. Scattered floral buttis fill the space in between, so the front never looks plain.
The wide-leg palazzo is cut from the same velvet and carries its own embroidered border at the ankle, which shows beautifully when you walk. An elastic waist keeps it comfortable through a long dinner or a full wedding evening. The chikku organza dupatta lightens the whole look, with pearl work scattered across it and a gold fringe along the edges. Add oxidised jhumkas and a few bangles and you are done.

The kurta comes fully stitched in M (38), L (40), XL (42) and XXL (44), with a length of 38 inches and full sleeves. The palazzo is 39-40 inches long with an elastic waist that adjusts to your fit. Please check our size chart before ordering. Velvet has very little stretch, so size up if you are between two sizes.
