This suit sits in a deep mahogany brown that photographs like old wood, warm and a little unexpected against the usual jewel tones. Fine vine and floral embroidery with sequin detailing covers the kurti from shoulder to hem, so the print reads more like fabric texture than a loud pattern. The neckline is where the design gets interesting, with cutout shoulders and a beaded choker-style collar that sits just above the main yoke.
Full sleeves at 18 inches carry the same embroidery down to the cuff, and at 50 inches the kurti runs long, almost gown-length. The palazzo underneath has a micro cotton inner and an elastic waist that stretches up to 44 inches for easy comfort. The dupatta finishes the look with embroidered lace and a pleated pattern along its 2.2 metre length.
