Every inch of this kurta is worked in embroidery, laid out in vertical rows of kundan stones and sequins that build into diamond patterns down the front. Small clusters of red and green stones break up the geometry at intervals, and the hem finishes in a zigzag border heavy with more kundan and sequin detail. It is a lot of surface work, but the repeating grid pattern keeps it structured rather than cluttered.
Heavy chiffon silk gives the kurta its fluid drape, with a micro cotton lining underneath for comfort against the skin. The matching palazzo carries an elasticated waist for ease of movement, and the dupatta repeats the same heavy embroidery with a cutwork finish along the edges.
