This lehenga takes its cue from temple architecture, with zari weaving forming a band of motifs along the hem of an ivory viscose jacquard check base. The skirt is stitched with a canvas patta for structure and finished with a 3.5 metre flare, while the cotton inner keeps it breathable through a full day of functions. A chain and dori drawstring closure at the waist gives you a little room to adjust the fit.
The blouse comes unstitched in one metre of the same jacquard fabric, so you can have it tailored to sit exactly the way you like. The contrast dupatta is where the color story comes in, cut from faux blooming georgette with zari embroidery cut work along the border. This one works well for a temple visit, an engagement, or any daytime function where you want the weave to speak for itself.
