This kaftan-style top reads more like wearable folk art than a standard kurta. Multicolor embroidery in cobalt blue, orange and sage runs across the yoke and down one side of the body, mixing florals with circular medallion motifs in a pattern that feels lived-in and eclectic rather than matched-set neat. Small mirror pieces catch light along the embroidery, and the hem finishes in a deep scalloped cutwork edge trimmed in navy.
The bell sleeves flare out generously from the elbow, embroidered to match, and the whole top runs long at 51 inches, so it drapes close to floor length over the palazzo pants underneath. The dupatta continues the theme with its own embroidery and cutwork on rangoli fabric.
