The body is a soft crush shimmer fabric in ivory, catching light in quiet ripples as you move, dotted with small embroidered butas in maroon, mustard and gold. All the craft gathers at the edge: a scalloped applique border built from maroon bandhej patches, outlined in zari thread embroidery, sequins and tiny petal accents that trace every curve of the scallop.
The blouse is where the border's story continues. Cut from chinon in a deep maroon bandhej print with its own sequin worked edge, it anchors the ivory drape with warmth instead of competing with it.
