Smooth mul chanderi with a soft sheen, cut into a flared kurta that sits just above the knee. The shaped yoke is where the work lives: multi-colour thread embroidery, beads and a jewel-toned stone at the centre, all finished with real hand work. Small embroidered patches sit on the sleeves, and the three-quarter cuffs end in a matching woven border.
The wide Roman silk palazzo carries the same embroidered border at the hem, so the whole look ties together when you move. The dupatta has the border running along all sides, with round embroidered motifs and tassels at the corners. Wear it with silver jhumkas for a Diwali get-together, a haldi or a festive family lunch.
