This saree is woven in a gold-toned crinkle silk that carries a warm shimmer under any kind of light, whether that's a chandelier indoors or afternoon sun outside. A lotus and vine pattern runs the length of the border in malti thread embroidery, shaded in pink, green and gold so each flower has real dimension rather than sitting as a flat outline. Sequins are worked into the same border, and a cutwork edge finishes the scalloped hem cleanly on both the saree and pallu.
