This is the suit that lets the dupatta do the talking. The kurta keeps it clean in natural crepe silk, with structured puff shoulders, full sleeves, and a fine lace border tracing the hem and side slits. At 36 to 37 inches, it sits just above the knee over a wide farshi salwar that falls in easy folds to the ankle.
The butterfly net dupatta is the showpiece. Trailing vines of multi needle embroidery cover the body, a wide border of 5 mm and 9 mm sequins runs along every edge, and small drops hang from the corners. Tuck a fresh rose behind your ear, add chandbalis, and you're ready for mehendi, Eid, or a festive dinner.
