Champagne organza and rani pink is a wedding guest formula that simply does not miss. The 5.5 meter drape is cut from glass organza silk, the crisp, light catching kind that holds sculptural pleats, and scattered with small gold thread butas across the body. Then comes the border: a wide band of rani pink packed edge to edge with paisley and floral jaal embroidery in golden thread and sequins, finished with a scalloped trim that catches light along the entire fall.
The blouse piece refuses to play backup. Cut from mono Bangalori silk in the same rani pink, it carries head to hem thread and sequin embroidery, so once stitched it reads like a bridal-grade corset blouse against the quiet champagne body.
