The champagne tone does a lot of the work on its own, catching light differently depending on how the vichitra silk falls. What sets this one apart is the top: a short peplum cut with heavy hand bead embroidery scattered across it and a back zipper for an easy, no-fuss fit. At 30-31 inches, it sits at the natural waist, letting the lehenga skirt take over from there.
The skirt itself runs 42 inches in length with up to 4 metres of flare, gold ribbon edging tracing the hem in place of heavier embellishment, so the movement stays light. A tissue organza dupatta finishes the look, bordered in gota patti and a fine lace edge, running 2.3 metres for a generous drape. It's the kind of understated gold that photographs beautifully without competing with your jewelry.
