Black works as a base for this anarkali the way a dark sky works for stars, letting small gold sequins scatter across the body catch every bit of light without competing with anything else. It's a quiet pattern up top, but the hem changes register entirely. A scalloped mirror border in zari and sequin work wraps the full width of the flare, dense and structured enough to anchor the gown visually from across the room.
Sleeves run long and sheer, finished with a mirror-worked cuff in matching gold that bookends the scattered sequin pattern on the body. A full cotton lining sits underneath, so the sheer faux georgette outer stays comfortable rather than clingy. The pant keeps things simple in heavy micro fabric, while the dupatta carries its own chevron pattern in a velvet print border with red piping, a graphic contrast to the floral scallop on the gown.
