A plain black anarkali is a wardrobe staple, but the attached koti is what makes this one worth a second look. The short jacket layer carries a folk-art print of dancing figures in red, teal and mustard, tied at the front with a black button and finished with a beaded fringe that swings as you move. It sits over the black gown like a permanent accessory, so you get the layered effect without any extra styling.
Below the koti, the heavy faux georgette gown opens into a full 4 meter umbrella flair, with a heavy micro cotton inner keeping it comfortable and fully opaque. The sheer full sleeves and long train-like dupatta add a soft, floaty movement that balances out the structured print on the koti.
