Black with pastel embroidery is a smart way to wear colour without going loud. This rayon satin kurta has a cluster of lilac, pink and powder-blue florals around the neckline and down the placket, finished with potli buttons. Smaller flower buttis are scattered across the body, and fine embroidered lines trim the hem, side slits and wide cuffs. At 46 inches long, it falls just below the knee in a clean, straight cut.
The matching rayon satin palazzo carries an embroidered hem border, and the elastic waist keeps it comfortable through a long evening. Your faux georgette dupatta has thread and sequin work with borders on all four sides, and you can wear it draped or wrapped around your neck like a scarf, as shown.
